Tips on Weight Loss

With so many diseases related to being overweight, we must do all we can to honor God but presenting to Him our bodies as a "living sacrifice." God understands the struggles with appetite! Observe Christ fasting for 40 days and nights, showing how important it is for the Holy Spirit to control us and not appetite. Below find a few simple dietary steps, when combined with physical activity, will lead to success in loosing weight.

•  Eat a good breakfast every day, which should include of a whole grain cereal and at least 3-5 servings of fruit.

•  Do not eat anything between meals but water. Not even a raisin or the skin of a peanut!

•  Be sure to drink 6-8 cups of water each day, between meals.

•  If a third meal is eaten make it light, soup and toast or fruit and toast.

So why not try it. You have nothing to loose but weight. And with these simple measures and trust in God's ability to bless, you will be successful. Remember, " Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us," (Gal 3:20)
