I truly enjoy Church Pond services and singing. I am going thru some trying times at this time and I heard the song of Mr. Kelly singing Is there anyone can help us which blessed my soul so much , also the sermons preached, wonderful!! Churchpond has become my comfort over the last year. I try to go thru each church each week but with so many I am behind three weeks at times but each time i hear a sermon it is as if it just what I need. I just finished listening the Enigma of the Blessed and was dumb-founded. i am going thru a divorce after 27 years (both of us SDA and active in the church since 1977)after I discovered that my husband has been deceptive in material possessions. When questioned, his answer was divorce since it is California law for "community property." I have been the main bread -winner for the last 20 years since migration to this country (put 3 kids by myself thru SDA elementary schools, 2 thru public High and college(couldn't afford SDA), 1 left in SDA high, paid house bills and mortgage (for 15 yrs)because he was in school and was supposed to be establishing a business for the good of the family. Now he wants everything according to the "law" of man.
I was so upset this morning as I am faced with no tuition for my child last year in school because of lawyer fees and had just came off the phone with my lawyer since his lawyer is stalling the case until my child reaches 18 when I got to your church listing and decided to listen to the sermon at the bottom as I usually do until I get to the most recent.
God sent your sermon just in time. Sometimes I get mad with God as I think I did all a wife (I was more than a help-meet)should have done and the last thing I expected was his deceit not to mention divorce and I asked God at times where is He. I have been going thru this for 2 years and seem as if there is no end in sight of the mental anguish to my kids and I. Pray for me that I keep trusting God.
It may appear as if I will be the loser (since he got rid of all his assets over the last 4-5 years)here but i have to remember at times it is just material things-house, 401K, retirement, life insurance. When God comes eternal life will be more than worth it.It so hard to see it that way since the carnal nature think revenge but I have to keep strong and be an example for my kids. I know I will have a Praise Report at the end of this but God is molding me. Pray that I will be willing to be molded because some days I feel dejected and used. Thanks for your prayers. You have reached untold numbers of people all over the world who need this blessing...who knew the message going into "all the world" before the Lord comes would be by internet? I have so been blessed by you, as I was injured two years ago, and have missed many Sabbaths in person...but..Praise be to God,NOT in spirit, as I "attend church" at my own church Madison Mission, but also can attend in Bermuda, come across time zones to Atlanta Berean with Pastor Byrd, to Madison Mission with Elder Doggette et al, and end in California...for a very high time in Zion!!!! (Or any other combination of churches!) You'll never know what this has meant to me and others like me all over the world! You have no idea what a powerful medium you have with Church Pond. My mother is not in this country and she is able to watch her home church in Riverside Ca on Sabbath. I praise God for these sermons on ChurchPond, for they are divinely inspired for God's people in these last days. These are the sermons we need to hear..."Present Truth" to prepare us individually and as a corporate body to fulfill the Lord's call to the Remnant Church - Seventh-Day Adventist. Oh how my heart burns with conviction and determination that I will allow the Holy Spirit to move and work in my life...and in the body of Christ that we might herald this most precious message to a dying world...a world that will not get any better for Christ is soon to come. Thank you for allowing the message from Pastor Doggette to Wintly Phipps and others be broadcast on this weblint. I just completed watching your services online. God is good! I was left behind as some of my family members went to church today. At first I was a little bitter but then I figured there is a reason for everything. I fed the birds outside and thanked the Lord for the Sabbath before logging on to churchpond. The Lord chose your church for me today. I was extremely blessed. May the Lord continue to be with you all as you minister around the world. I LOVE THAT I HAVE FOUND THIS ON THE INTERNET. MY GRANDMOTHER AND FAMILY HAVE BEEN MEMBERS OF HIILTOP SDA CHURCH FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER.SHE SPENT ALOT OF TIME IN CHURCH AND ALWAYS SAID THE CHURCH WAS HER HOME.A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO SHE DEVELOP DEMENTIA AND LOST HER HOUSE AMONG MANY OTHER THINGS . SHE HAS BEEN SINCE BOUNCE BETWEEN FAMILY AND NURSING HOMES. I FINALLY HAVE HER AND SHE HAS STABILTY IN HER LIFE .HOWEVER SHE ALWAYS TALKS ABOUT GOING HOME.THERE ARENT ENOUGH EXCUESS IN THE WORLD(I HAVE NO HELP,4 KIDS AND NO CAR,ETC.) FOR ME TO EXPLAIN WHY I DONT BRING HER TO CHURCH AS MUCH AS WE BOTH WOULD . HOWEVER THIS REALLY HELPS ALOT . Each week I look forward to worshiping with you, even though I have to wait until 12:00 midnight (I am in Seoul Korea). I am always blessed by the heavenly, melodious music that speaks to my soul each week. I appreciate the efforts to make your service as it "lifts up the highest praise" to our Omnipotent Father. I 'm sure HE inhabits your praise each week. Because my home is close by in Covington, it is always good to see familiar faces in the audience. It gives me a sense of belonging.
I was epecially moved by the baccalaureate services. The choir sang angelically and the students participated in a dignified manner. To God be the glory!
